Little
                    Snoring Norfolk Holidays

Little Snoring increased in size during the Second World War when a bomber airfield was established near by and this connection is commemorated in the Little Snoring Village Sign with an aeroplane rudder. The village is surrounded by acres of neatly ordered fields.

The church of St. Andrew with its astonishing range of architectural styles and offset tower, sits in a slightly elevated position within the village. Its mish-mash of  styles spans six centuries from Saxon to Tudor, which just makes it all the more appealing. The village has a pub The Green Man and a small village shop, both located slightly outside the main village. The North Norfolk coast is approximately nine miles away offering  dramatic coastal scenery and a variety of  attractions.

Just up the road is the Market Town of Fakenham with its large supermarket; cinema, ten-pin bowling, golf course, sports centre, museum and National Hunt racecourse. On its outskirts is the Dinosaur Adventure Park where you can discover life size giants of the past on the Dinosaur Trail. Also Pensthorpe Nature Reserve and Gardens, home to BBC Springwatch.

In the other direction is the village of Thursford with the attraction of The Thursford Collection with its famous collection of steam engines and fairground attractions and live musical shows featuring different mechanical pipe organs.
