The priory church of St. Margaret with St. Mary Magdalen and all the Virgin Saints in Kings Lynn, has on the outside of the south tower an un-usual church clock.
It does not show the time, but shows the phases of the moon and also the next high and low tide at Lynn.
The Yellow letters actually spell out "Lynn High Tide" if read clockwise.
The L represents midday and the G midnight.
Given to the church by a 17th century church warden and clockmaker Mayor Thomas Tue.
