A visitors guide to the village of Foulsham located in deepest Norfolk, some eight miles south of the Market Town of Fakenham.  The market place is graced with some fine Georgian houses the result of a fire that swept through this area in 1770.

Not far away is Pensthorpe Gardens and Nature Reserve. Pensthorpe lies within the Wensum Valley which acts as a migration corridor and the reserve is made up of numerous different kinds of habitats all of which attract different species. Its cobbled streets boast a variety of speciality shops, restaurants and inns. There are museums, galleries, visitor attractions, theatres and cinemas

The village of Foulsham has a shop and also a pub, the Queens Head. A few miles outside the village is the largest remaining ancient woodland in Norfolk, Foxley Wood managed by the Norfolk Wildlife Trust.
