The River Bure is navigable for 32 miles - 51km Situated at the northernmost part of the three main Broads rivers and sometimes called the North river. 
The River Bure has the most links and tributaries with more broads off it than any other Broadland river. 

It flows past the ruins of St. Benets Abbey, Oby Mill, Clippesby Mill and Stracey Arms Windpump. Towns and Villages on the River Bure: Coltishall, Wroxham, Hoveton, Horning, Thurne, Upton, Acle, Stokesby, Great Yarmouth.
